On Friday, Kaja had an appointment at Primary Children's. She was talking non-stop to the nurse and medical student. At one point, the medical student asked me how Kaja slept at night. I said that she does and has always done really well. She looked at him and said, "At night, my mom and dad put me down to bed and we say prayers, do you say your prayers?" Only a 4 year old could get away with that.
She ended up getting 2 shots of botox. She did great this time, last time she didn't like it. She hardly even flinched. The botox stings and so they spray cooling spray to numb it. She whimpered and said "That's funny". She didn't even know they did the second shot. They were so impressed by her, she got a lot of prizes: 2 stuffed animals, bubbles, and 5 play doh containers.
We then went downstairs for a hip x-ray. Her leg has been turning in and they wanted to check to see if her hip was becoming more uncovered (out of the socket). Again, she was so good, they technician, gave her 2 tokens for the toy machine.
The doctor called on Saturday, saying her hip looked fine and so no surgery was needed!!
