We went to Blake's 2 week appointment yesterday. Here are his stats:
At Birth:
Weight: 6 lbs. 15 oz.
Height: 18.5 inches
At 2 weeks:
Weight: 7 lbs. 5 oz. (13th percentile)
Height: 21 inches (65th percentile), notice that's up 2.5 inches in 2 weeks
Head: 14 cm (31st percentile)
He is doing great. We are going to see a urologist (specialist) for a consult on Friday. Dr. Cornish doesn't think that Blake has a hypospatias (pee pee hole pointing down). If this doctor agrees then we can get Blake circumcised next week rather than when he is 1 year old. This will save Blake pain, a surgery, and save us a lot of money!
