Paul and I have been watching Celebrity Apprentice. Last night was the season finale. We both really like Trace Adkins. We didn't know anything about him and as Paul said last night, "He's a man's man". He was saying some funny things about the BSB (Backstreet Boys) and their black fingernail polish and wheat grass juice.

Last night in the finale, he sang his new single: "You're Gonna Miss This". It really made me think about enjoying my kids and not taking advantage of what they are doing right now.

She was staring out the window of their SUV
Complaining, saying "I can't wait to turn 18"
She said "I'll make my own money, and I'll make my own rules"
Mamma put the car in park out there in front of the school
Then she kissed her head and said "I was just like you"

Before she knows it she's a brand new bride
In a one-bedroom apartment, and her daddy stops by

Five years later there's a plumber workin' on the water heater
